Training is funded by the Australian Government Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations under the Language, Literacy and Numeracy Program
Mission Australia's 'Rule the Road' program provides training specifically designed around driving rules, signs, directions and related subjects to improve literacy and numeracy skills so that students can successfully get their L's.
- Read and understand road rules
- Learn techniques to remember rules more easily
- Use maps and street directories
- Road safety - risk and responsibility
- Budgeting and insurance responsibilities involved in buying a car
- Develop skills and strategies to obtain a licence
- Complete Driver Knowledge Test to get 'L's
This specifically focused LLNP course will be available at sites around Tasmania where there are sufficient referral numbers for groups.
